Nancy Campelo holds a degree in Psychology, graduating in 1993 from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

Her specialization in Disability Psychology enabled her to work in Assistance, Teaching, and Research within the university field.

In 2004, she was diagnosed with Severe Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. From then, in 2006, she began exploring the field of rare diseases and served from 2016 to 2019 as a member of the Board of the Argentine Federation of Rare Diseases (FADEPOF).

Since early 2009, she has been the founding President of HIPUA, the first Pulmonary Hypertension organization in Argentina, which in 2014 was declared of Social and Health Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Along with the HIPUA Board of Directors, she has developed numerous programs aimed at empowering patients and families, as well as local and international awareness campaigns to promote knowledge of HP signs and symptoms, highlighting the current realities facing patients and their families in Argentina.

Today, with 20 years since her diagnosis and 24 years since her first symptoms, she continues to work with great motivation and hope for a cure.

Marc Humbert is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Paris-Saclay University and Inserm, France.

He is Head of the Department of Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine, French Reference Center for Pulmonary Hypertension, Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris.

Marc Humbert was president of the European Respiratory Society (2022) and editor-in-chief of the European Respiratory Journal (2013-2017).

He is the deputy coordinator of the European Reference Network for rare and low prevalence respiratory diseases (ERN-LUNG).

Since 2018, Clarivate Analytics has listed Marc Humbert as one of the most cited researchers in the world in the field of Clinical Medicine.

Stephan Rosenkranz, MD, is an interventional cardiologist and serves as the head of the Pulmonary Hypertension Center at the University of Cologne, Germany. He also leads the Cologne Cardiovascular Research Center (CCRC).

Professor Rosenkranz graduated from Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, before becoming a resident physician and researcher at the University of Cologne. After earning his PhD, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, USA, before returning to Cologne.

He is the former president of the "Pulmonary Circulation and Right Ventricular Function" Working Group of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and he currently serves as president of the "Committee on Lung, Sleep & Pulmonary Hypertension" of the Heart Failure Association (HFA) of the ESC.

He also served as chair of the task force for the 2022 ESC/ERS guidelines on pulmonary hypertension.

His research interests include cardiopulmonary interaction and right ventricular function in left heart disease, as well as signal transduction and the biological significance of tyrosine kinase receptors and stress signaling in cardiovascular diseases.

He has been involved in numerous clinical trials in the areas of vascular disease/atherosclerosis, heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension, and has received several scientific awards.
